Why this race and who is Beat Childhood Cancer?

Beat Childhood Cancer is a national nonprofit founded and led by parents of kids with cancer. When we started in 2010, we couldn’t find clinical trials and research making enough impact for kids with solid tumors, and so we helped to found (and solely fund) a research consortium now made up of over 50 children’s hospitals and research institutions, called
Beat Childhood Cancer Research Consortium.

Karaoke 5k is organized in memory of Nnamdi, the little boy pictured here. His parents lost him to neuroblastoma in 2017, and came up with the idea for this run to raise funds in his memory. Dollars raised will directly help kids fighting cancer TODAY, bringing brave hope through innovative treatment options which are saving lives and beating cancer.

Thank you for your support for every child, everywhere!
